Launch Glorious! With Marco Pierre White

Conival (AIM: CVL), the specialist branded food and beverage company, is pleased to announce the  launch of  its new brand Glorious!, a range of fresh chilled soups, approved  by Marco Pierre White. 

Glorious! is being launched exclusively to all 375 Morrisons stores from today at a retail price of £1.99 for 600g, which  compares favourably with the price of the market leader, New Covent Garden Soup, priced at £1.99. 

Conival Plc has collaborated with Morrisons as they have demonstrated exceptional support of the brand and a keen focus on developing their fresh chilled range. They are  supporting the brand  with an introductory trial price of £1.49 and prominent gondola end  positioning for four weeks from launch.

Glorious! soups will initially be launched in  four recipes;

·                Vine ripened tomato and balsamic
·                Wild mushroom and cream
·                Spicy Cuban beef and tomato
·                Chicken, courgette and orzo pasta
 

Marco Pierre White was the first Briton to be awarded three Michelin stars and in September 2007 appeared as Head Chef on ITV’s Hells Kitchen, raising his profile. Marco is scheduled to appear on further ITV programmes during 2008.
